Lace Snowflake Earrings

Description

Story:  These are Sterling Silver Lace Snowflakes on Copper earrings.  I love lace, but I wanted something that would be strong and not get tangled in your hair or clothes.  And, I wanted to make something totally different.  Of course!  Copper is antimicrobial.  (See my blog post on Copper).

Materials:  The lace is made from 960 Sterling Silver.  The Copper shines behind the lace.  And the ear wires are 925 Sterling Silver.

Measurement:  These earrings weigh 14.7 grams and are 1 1/2″ round.

Care:  Wash in warm water with a gentle soap.  It’s ok to use a soft toothbrush as well.  Dry with a clean soft cloth.  You can also use your jeweler’s cloth to bring the shine out.

Meaning:  The snowflake is the symbol of Christmas and Christ’s birth.  We are also instantly reminded of the holidays with snowflakes.
