Roaring Twenties Pendant

Description

Award-winning Pendant:  I won the Metal Clay Europe Roaring Twenties 2020 Contest for this pendant. The fabrics of the twenties are fascinating.  First, I draw out the pattern and then I hand-carve it into the Metal Clay.  The bezel (the setting) holding the mosaic, is also made of Metal Clay.  The result is an elegant pendant that you can wear every day or for a special occasion!

Materials:  I use 99.9% Fine Silver Metal Clay, therefore, making this the finest Silver available.  The gem is ethically sourced.  It is a mosaic of Turquoise, White Mother of Pearl, and Lapis Lazuli.  The chain is Sterling Silver.

Measurements:  The pendant is lightweight and measures 1 1/4″ in width and 1 1/2″ in length, therefore making it comfortable to wear.  The mosaic cabochon is 20x15mm and is oval in shape.  The Sterling Silver chain is 19″ in length, therefore making it easy for you to layer, or wear on its own.

Meaning: It is interesting to know about the meaning of gems, so here goes! Turquoise:  Turquoise is a stone of protection; it has tranquil energy and is associated with enduring love.  White Mother of Pearl:  Mother of Pearl is a symbol of good luck and prosperity; and, it is the 1st Anniversary gemstone.  Lapis Lazuli: Lapis Lazuli is also a stone of protection; it releases stress and brings deep peace to the wearer.
